During his time there he received a bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Pre-Med. While at UND he also spent 2 years working with Ben Saaribovre who is a master of Kinesiology, CSCS certified, and a published author in the strength training community. While working with Saaribovre, Alex learned about many different styles of training and functional programming.
After graduating from UND in 2015 Alex attended Northwestern Health Sciences University. In November of 2018 he will be receiving his Doctorate of Chiropractic.
Since January of 2018, Alex has been interning with Dr. Jason O’Donnell and Athlete’s Edge furthering his training in functional movement and training
The way we access pain free movement is through the utilization of the body’s naturally built in stabilization mechanisms. These mechanisms are collectively called “anatomy trains” or “sling systems”. The body contains these inter-grouping of muscles that control both side of the body in equal, balanced, unison, WHEN activated correctly.
The point of this class is to try and uncover the “sling system” and use it to create a better and more functional you with LESS PAIN!! The hope and goal of this class is to teach better movement, better mobility, and to challenge you to improve in new ways!
